We do not list items we cannot verify.

The global market for counterfeit luxury goods is vast and increasingly sophisticated. Fakes are no longer easy to spot — they replicate stitching, hardware finishes, date codes, and even serial numbers at a level that requires trained expertise and technology to detect. Our Two-Layer Authentication Process
Layer 1: In-House Inspection
Every item is inspected by our team before it reaches LegitGrails. We examine:
‣ Brand-specific authenticity markers (serial numbers, date codes, embossing, and engravings).
‣ Stitching consistency, stitch count, and thread quality.
‣ Hardware quality, weight, and finish (zippers, clasps, buckles, logo plates).
‣ Materials and leather quality — texture, grain, smell, and ageing Interior lining, labels, stamps, and pocket construction.
‣ Original accessories: dust bag, box, authenticity card, and care booklet.
Items that fail our in-house inspection are rejected at this stage and do not proceed to listing.
Layer 2: LegitGrails Independent Verification
For items without original receipts or authentication cards, and as a second layer of confirmation for high-value pieces, we partner with LegitGrails, an internationally recognised authentication service with:

Items that come with original receipts and authentication cards are authenticated in-house using our specialist process. Items without original documentation are additionally verified through LegitGrails. High-value pieces may go through both layers regardless of documentation.

LegitGrails uses a hybrid process: AI first compares submitted photos against a database of authentic and counterfeit samples, then 2–4 brand specialist authenticators independently review the findings and deliver a verdict. No result is issued by AI alone — two human specialists must agree before a verdict is recorded.

What happens if an item fails authentication?
